This safety-sensitive position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to excellence, safety, and teamwork.Why Join Us?Work with state-of-the-art batching technologyCompetitive pay and benefitsOpportunities for career growth and advancementSupportive team culture focused on safety and respectKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate batching of concrete by verifying admixtures and dosages, meeting company and customer specifications every timeAdjust batching weights and quantities to maintain quality standardsChampion a safe work environment for yourself and your team, following all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulationsWear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas as requiredCollaborate with the Foreperson and team to achieve project goals and daily expectationsDemonstrate professionalism and courtesy in all interactionsMaintain reliable, on-time attendance to keep operations running smoothlyQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience as a Batch Plant Operator preferredStrong understanding of concrete mix designs and componentsEssential Skills & RequirementsVerify each load for volume, mix, additives, and all relevant quality dataOperate batching and plant equipment safely and efficientlyReceive, inspect, and manage raw material inventoriesMaintain accurate records and logsOversee cleaning and basic maintenance of the central mix plantMonitor plant inventories (cement, flyash, admixtures)Proficient in computer batching systemsIdentify problems, collect data, and communicate effectively with supervisorsPerform preventive maintenance and report equipment issuesStrict adherence to safety protocols and company policiesAbility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as neededTeam player willing to assist with additional duties as requiredPreferred Knowledge & SkillsBasic operation of skid steer/BobCat equipmentExperience with hand tools and general equipment maintenancePhysical & Work Environment RequirementsFrequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agilityRegularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder heightLift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as neededWork primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditionsComfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environmentsMust have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safelyReasonable accommodations provided as necessary to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functionsGrow With UsWe believe in supporting our employees' growth and providing opportunities for advancement.
