The company delivers trusted, innovative, and tailored solutions that support some of the world's most in demand and fastest-growing industries.With a commitment to legendary customer service, operational excellence, and global sustainability, Greif packages life's essentials - and creates lasting value for its colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.Our Vision: To Be the Advantage That Helps Our Customers Win.Our Purpose: Creating packaging solutions for life's essentials.Job Title: Batch Maker (Open)Key Responsibilities:Read and follow batch sheets, formulas, and work instructions.Accurately weigh, measure, and add raw materials according to product specifications.Operate mixers, tanks, pumps, and related manufacturing equipment.Monitor batch processes and make adjustments as directed to ensure product quality.Collect samples and perform basic quality checks throughout production.Document production activities, material usage, and batch records accurately.Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed.Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and safety hazards promptly.Support continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives.Education and Experience:Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of relevant experience.Knowledge and Skills:Follow directions and work well in a team.Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.Solid understanding of the production equipment.At Greif, we believe that our colleagues are the center of our success. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $26.89 to $26.89. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role.
The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases.
