Radiologic TechnologistThe Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist providers in the evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses. This role also supports administrative and clinical functions, including front desk and medical assisting duties, as needed.Responsibilities:Greet patients and clearly explain imaging procedures in a professional and compassionate mannerAccurately position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safetyFollow ALARA principles and other radiation safety protocolsProcess and review images for clarity, proper identification, and quality assuranceOperate both digital and analog imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standardsAssist providers with patient care and treatments when necessaryPerform routine equipment maintenance and arrange for service when requiredComplete necessary documentation, including imaging logs, reports, and patient recordsProvide support as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant when needed, within scope of trainingPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:ARRT registration or board eligibility preferredCurrent state licensure in radiologic technology (as required by state regulations)Compensation: $27.00 - $30.00 per hourAmerican Family Care has pioneered the concept of convenient, patient-centric healthcare.
