NBetween, a busy, Japanese-inspired cocktail bar in Chelsea Market, is looking for a dynamic BARTENDER to join our team! Our innovative, award-winning, cocktail-driven program uses creative approaches and techniques, along with seasonal ingredients and eclectic spirits, to create unique drinking experiences. We also offer a Japanese-inspired food menu and in-house music programs, with live DJs Wednesday-Saturday. We’re open seven days a week--catch our vibe @nbetween.bar on IG.
Requirements:
2-3 years of Bartending experience preferred, but willing to teach the right candidate.
Able to work afternoons, evenings, and later nights.
Fluency with classic cocktails, cocktail culture, and current cocktail trends are a must.
Food Science/Culinary background is a plus.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Communicate to the prep, lead bartender, and management teams as necessary.
Willingness to learn and take instruction.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Multitasking as necessary.
Motivated to learn, with an openness to new ways of looking at cocktails.
Thrive when working with others in a pooled house.
Maintain a positive, hospitality-forward attitude throughout service.
Food Handler's Card is necessary.
