Minetta Tavern is seeking a bartender with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow. In this position, you will create an intimate and high-quality dining experience for our guests. You will answer customers’ questions, assist them with their choices, take their orders, and deliver their meals following high standards. Since its renovation, Minetta Tavern has best been described as "Parisian steakhouse meets classic New York City tavern."

- At least 3 years' experience as a Bartender in a well rated New York Times restaurant in NYC
- Experience in a French inspired restaurant
- Personable & professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with peers and guests
- The ability to stay positive and calm under pressure, being able to work through tickets and service calmly and seamlessly.
- Knowledge of French wine & Specialty cocktails are a must
- Helping guests be aware of and choose menu items, taking orders and making guests feel taken care of during their visit
- Keeping the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service
Bartender Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years bartender experience preferred
- Must have upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude
- Basic math skills
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to thrive in an active, and demanding environment
- Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages
