Bartender, Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar, Chelsea
We pour saffron into cocktails and keep 235+ wines behind the bar. We need someone who can hold the room while doing it. You're the kind of bartender regulars come back for. You remember the drink and the name. You can talk a guest from a Malbec to a French Bordeaux without making them feel schooled. You shake, stir, and batch with a clean station, and you still find time to ask the couple at the end of the bar how the pistachio ice cream was. What you'll be working with: a Persian-Mediterranean menu, a wine list that goes deep and its cousins, a zero-proof program we take as seriously as the spirits, and a Chelsea crowd that leans into a good conversation. Nights and weekends, full time. $11.35/hr plus tips. Two years behind a real bar preferred. A love of wine required. A sense of humor non-negotiable.
Come make the bar the best seat in the house.
