Position Summary
In Tune Hospitality is seeking an experienced, high-energy Bartender to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of bartending experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment, strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktail creation, and a dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout shift operations.
Interact warmly with guests, taking food and beverage orders while offering personalized recommendations.
Check legal identification to verify age requirements for alcohol service.
Manage POS transactions, accurately process payments, and balance register drawers.
Adhere strictly to state liquor laws, health codes, and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of bartending or similar high-volume hospitality experience required.
Skills: Strong foundation in cocktail mixology, beverage pairing, and spirits knowledge.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude.
Efficiency: Ability to multitask effectively under pressure in a dynamic dining room and bar setting.
Availability: Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
