Bartender at the TALEA Taproom in Upper West Side
We are searching for Bartenders who are passionate about beer, service, and hospitality to join us in our new TALEA taproom in the Upper West Side.
About Us
TALEA's brewery and taproom in Williamsburg, Brooklyn opened in March 2021. Our hospitality-focused experience showcases our signature low-bitterness, fruit-forward beers, boasts unique beer cocktails, and features a continually evolving kitchen program. With our 20-barrel brew house and pilot system, we will continue to brew and release crowd favorites as well as experimental small-batch beers, all with the mission of creating easy-to-love beers "perhaps to replace that glass of rosé" (Florence Fabricant, The New York Times).
The Role
TALEA is looking for eager and hard-working bartenders to join our team. Experience in brewing, bartending, operations, and other complementary fields will be helpful; a passion for craft beer and delighting customers is required.
Bartenders will be responsible for an array of duties: sharing our story, pouring flights, building cocktails, making friends, stocking the taproom, changing kegs, receiving orders, and folding merchandise. This is a position not for someone defined purely by a job title, but for someone inspired to deliver incredible service, advocate for the guest, and champion the team.
As a member of the nimble TALEA team, you'll be joining a growing company as we look to open new locations across New York — working closely with the Taproom Manager, Head of Operations, Lead Brewers, and Co-Founders. Be prepared to get your hands dirty! We value autonomy, ambition, grit, and an insatiable desire to exceed expectations. If you're looking for a fun, fast-paced, and challenging opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for people with full availability who are enthusiastic about opening and closing shifts.

- Enthusiastic and comfortable working for an early-stage company in a rapidly changing environment

- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Cicerone Certified Beer Server preferred
- Available to work 8-hour shifts during days, evenings, and weekends, starting mid-September
