The RoleWe're hiring a Bartender for a high-volume, multi-level rooftop venue. You'll craft drinks to spec, keep pace during peak service, and deliver a strong guest experience. This role suits someone with solid technical bar skills who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
What You'll Do- Prepare and serve drinks according to recipe specs, maintaining consistency and quality
- Prep garnishes, juice fresh ingredients, and batch components ahead of service
- Engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Check IDs and monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly
- Coordinate with floor staff to keep service moving
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Restock and rotate bar inventory as needed during service
- Prior bartending experience in a high-volume setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and proper technique
- Comfortable with prep work — cutting garnishes, juicing, batching
- Able to stand, move, and work efficiently for extended shifts, including stairs across multiple floors
- Reliable, guest-focused, and calm under pressure
- Available nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet legal age to serve alcohol in NYC
- Valid food handler's/alcohol service certification
