Bartender

Rokusho is a modern Japanese dining destination blending Japanese tradition with contemporary Los Angeles influence. Known for its striking Japanese brutalist design, innovative cuisine, and thoughtfully curated cocktail and sake program, Rokusho offers a sophisticated yet welcoming dining experience.

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of craft cocktails, premium spirits, Japanese ingredients, and exceptional guest service.

• Prepare and serve craft cocktails, classic drinks, wine, sake, and other beverages with precision and consistency.

• Deliver attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized hospitality to every guest.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of our cocktail menu, spirits, sake, and food offerings.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality and presentation standards.

• Assist with bar setup, breakdown, cleanliness, stocking, and inventory.

• Collaborate with the bar team and management to maintain consistency and execute seasonal beverage offerings.

• Follow all responsible alcohol service, sanitation, and food safety standards.

• Create a welcoming bar atmosphere that reflects the Rokusho experience.

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience , preferably in an upscale, fine dining, or craft cocktail environment.

• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and mixology techniques.

• Familiarity with Japanese spirits, sake, shochu, and Japanese-inspired cocktails is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication, multitasking, and guest service skills.

• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and remain composed under pressure.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Valid California RBS certification and applicable Food Handler Card, or ability to obtain them within required timelines.
