Emerald Loop Bar & Grill is a lively American-Irish bar & grill in the heart of downtown Chicago, steps from the Chicago Riverwalk and Chicago Theatre. We’re currently looking for Bartenders to join our front-of-house team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, engaging service to guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant
- Guide guests through food and beverage menus, including beer, cocktails, and specials
- Prepare and serve beer, cocktails, and spirits accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of draft beers, cocktails, and daily specials
- Ensure bar cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking throughout shifts
- Accurately process orders and payments using TOAST
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines
- Work closely with servers and management to support smooth service
- Promote our rewards program with guests
- Promote our specials and offers to guests
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of previous bartending experience (high-volume experience a plus)
- Irish Pub bartending experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of beer, spirits, and classic cocktails
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong guest service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
