Bartender (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Briscola Trattoria is looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our team.

We are seeking someone with strong knowledge of classic italian drinks and contemporary cocktails and spirits, wine and spirits, and the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is versatile, hospitality-driven, and comfortable supporting both the bar and floor operations when needed.

• Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails with consistency and attention to detail
• Create cocktails with italian focus and seasonality 
• Maintain strong knowledge of italian spirits, liqueurs, aperitivi, wine, beer, and Italian beverage culture
• Provide excellent guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere at the bar
• Manage bar setup, stocking, cleanliness, and closing procedures
• Handle high-volume service while maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Assist with restaurant operations as needed (running drinks, supporting service, maintaining organization, keeping the bar clean and organised)

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or cocktail-focused environment
• Excellent knowledge of italian cocktails, spirits, and wine
• Ability to multitask and adapt to different service needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food protection handler preferred
