Barista

Doma Cafe's team is growing! 
We are hiring a part time barista. Availability on both Saturday and Sunday is a requirement. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, preparing high-quality coffee beverages, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Your role will involve opening and/or closing, engaging with customers and staff, and performing various tasks to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
Please note this is a flex role with both barista and server/food runner responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of espresso based drinks, drip coffee, and tea.
• Serve a variety of espresso based drinks, drip coffee, and tea. 
• Open and/or close the cafe according to established procedures.
• Cleaning, organizing and table clearing. 
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous barista experience is  required. Proficiency in weighing shots, dialing in espresso, properly steaming milk, pouring latte art, and brewing coffee and tea are mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and punctuality.
• Open availability, including Saturday and Sunday. 
• Bright, energetic, and customer-oriented personality.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of the role-playing nature of the position and ability to fulfill specific needs of the cafe environment.
• Willingness to grow with the company and commit to a long-term role.

Compensation: Hourly ($17.05 - $19.00) per hour plus tips.
