Barber

We are seeking skilled Barbers/Hair Stylists (commison) to deliver exceptional grooming services, encompassing hair cutting, styling, beard trimming, shaving, and hair coloring. Successful candidates will operate effectively both autonomously and collaboratively within a client-centric environment, accommodating both scheduled appointments and walk-in clientele. Stylists are also expected to recommend personalized grooming products and engage in continuous professional development to uphold and advance their expertise.

Responsibilities:

* Execute hair cutting and styling services in accordance with client specifications.
* Precisely trim and shape beards.
* Administer shaving services with meticulous care.
* Professionally apply hair coloring techniques.
* Advise clients on suitable grooming products.
* Uphold stringent sanitation and safety protocols.
* Efficiently manage appointment schedules and walk-in client traffic in our high-volume establishment, conveniently situated near UConn and Eastern on a prominent thoroughfare.

Preferred Qualifications:

* A minimum of five years of experience in barbering or hairstyling.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Possession of a valid State Barber License or Cosmetology License.
* Demonstrated proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, shaving, and trimming.
* Exceptional customer service capabilities.
* Comprehensive knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures.
* Effective time management and communication skills.
