Barback – H&H Cantina | East Village

H&H Cantina, a modern Mexican cantina and cocktail bar in the East Village, is looking for an energetic and reliable Barback to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn bartending, develop cocktail skills, and grow into a bartender position .

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting bartenders during busy service
• Restocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and bar supplies
• Preparing and organizing cocktail garnishes
• Garnishing and finishing cocktail glasses according to our presentation standards
• Keeping the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
• Replacing bottles and supplies quickly during high-volume periods
• Washing and polishing glassware
• Preparing the bar before service and assisting with breakdown/closing
• Helping bartenders maintain fast and efficient service
• Learning our cocktail ingredients, recipes, garnishes, and presentation
• Communicating with bartenders and the rest of the FOH team throughout the shift

• Fast, organized, and able to work under pressure
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork
• Comfortable working in a busy nightlife environment
• Willingness to learn
• Interest in cocktails and bartending
• Previous restaurant/bar experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
