We’re looking for a hardworking Barback to join our team! As a Barback, you’ll support our bartenders and ensure the bar operates smoothly during service. This is a fast-paced role that’s perfect for someone who thrives in high-energy environments.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Assist bartenders with stocking and replenishing all bar supplies including liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, ice, and mixers.
•    Maintain cleanliness throughout on-site and off-site premises. 
•    Move and transport filled glass racks, ice, cases of liquor, beer, wine, and other assigned items. 
•    Mechanically and/or manually wash and sanitize bar and glassware.
•    Remove trash, recyclables, and used glassware in a timely and discreet manner.
•    Replace kegs and restock coolers as needed.
•    Ensure all bar tools and equipment are cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift.
•    Support bartenders during peak service periods by anticipating needs and maintaining steady workflow.
•    Properly change beer kegs, CO2 tanks, soda dispensers, and wine dispensers.
•    Account for and maintain security of bar and storage room(s) inventories.
•    Complete sidework as assigned in a timely manner.
•    Communicate with guest in a friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
•    Perform more than one task at a time.
•    Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies as required by NYC and company standards.
•    Communicate effectively with management and all FOH and BOH team members to ensure seamless service.
•    Refrain from eating, drinking, or smoking in guest areas.
•    Communicate problems to management immediately.
Qualifications:
•    Previous Barback experience is needed.
•    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
•    Strong teamwork and communication skills.
•    Ability to kneel, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
•    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and busy environment.
•    Must have a valid Food Handler’s Certification and/or TIPS Training certification (or be willing to obtain one).
