Position Summary:  

The Barback supports the bar team in delivering a seamless and elevated beverage experience by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, organized, and prepared for service. This partner plays a critical role in maintaining efficiency behind the bar, anticipating the needs of bartenders, and supporting overall bar operations. The Barback contributes to a polished and well-executed environment that reflects the CORE: experience and enhances the overall member experience.  

The Specifics:    

  • Maintain bar stock levels, including liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, glassware, and ice throughout service  
  • Prepare and restock garnishes, juices, and other bar ingredients to ensure readiness  
  • Support bartenders by retrieving items quickly and efficiently during service  
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar, including bar top, service areas, and storage spaces  
  • Assist with glassware polishing, washing, and restocking  
  • Remove trash, recycling, and empty bottles as needed to maintain a clean workspace  
  • Support opening and closing duties, ensuring the bar is fully set up and properly broken down  
  • Communicate proactively with bartenders and leadership to anticipate needs and maintain flow  
  • Uphold all CORE: guidelines related to cleanliness, safety, and organization  
  • Maintain a professional, polished, and team-oriented presence throughout service

Experience and Qualifications:    

  • Previous bar or restaurant experience preferred
