Job Title: BANNER SAAS - INTEGRATION ARCHITECT
Location: Houston, TX – Onsite/Hybrid

Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture for Banner SaaS integrations across student, finance, HR, and related systems
- Define integration patterns, data contracts, mapping standards, error handling, logging, and reconciliation approaches
- Assess current-state interfaces and recommend future-state designs
- Partner with business analysts, developers, client IT teams, and third-party vendors to move integrations into build-ready scope
- Review technical designs and code to maintain consistency and quality
- Identify dependencies, risks, and environment constraints early in the lifecycle
- Support estimation, proposal development, and client-facing discovery discussions
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with Ellucian Banner, preferably including Banner SaaS or Banner modernization programs
- Hands-on experience with enterprise integrations, APIs, flat files, batch interfaces, and middleware-led designs
- Strong understanding of source-to-target mapping, data transformation, and interface architecture
- Experience in higher education ERP environments
- Ability to lead technical workshops and communicate clearly with functional and technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MuleSoft, Ethos, or similar integration platforms
- Experience supporting migration from on-prem Banner to SaaS
- Familiarity with student systems, reporting, and institutional data flows
