Bankruptcy Attorney-North CarolinaOur client, a full-service regional law firm is seeking an Attorney for its Bankruptcy Department admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in North Carolina. The firm is committed to excellence and exceeding client expectations, with attorneys admitted to practice in multiple jurisdictions.Location: REMOTE - for Raleigh and Winston-Salem, North CarolinaPrimary ResponsibilitiesRepresent creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.Review statutorily required notices, correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.Prepare and respond to written inquiries or disputes efficiently.Attend and argue motions and hearings before courts.Participate in mediation sessions.Provide legal counsel to clients throughout the bankruptcy process.RequirementsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree.Admission to the bar in North Carolina (State, Federal, and Bankruptcy courts) with CM/ECF filing credentials.Minimum 2 years experience representing creditors in bankruptcy/insolvency matters.Strong knowledge of secured creditor issues.Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment and with senior management.Firm Amenities and BenefitsCompetitive benefits package, including 401(k) with employer matching, paid medical coverage, vacation, and personal days.Paid holidays.Professional growth and development opportunities.
