Bankruptcy Associate | Restructuring & Special Situations

LHH is assisting a well-regarded midsize law firm in its search for a Bankruptcy Associate to join its sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring practice.

The associate will work on a broad range of bankruptcy matters representing secured lenders, debtors, liquidating trustees, landlords, purchasers of distressed assets, and other interested parties. This is an opportunity to develop experience across multiple sides of complex bankruptcy and distressed situations.

The Role

The associate will have the opportunity to:

• Represent secured lenders, debtors, trustees, landlords, distressed-asset purchasers, and other parties in bankruptcy matters
• Assist with sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring matters
• Take substantive responsibility for matters while working alongside experienced attorneys
• Develop broad experience representing parties with differing interests throughout the bankruptcy process

The Opportunity

• Broad bankruptcy experience across creditor, debtor, trustee, landlord, and purchaser representations
• 1,800-hour annual billable expectation
• Hybrid work environment
• Threedays per week in the office
