Banking & Commercial Finance Attorney

A sophisticated, collegial AmLaw 200 law firm has an immediate need for an experienced Banking & Commercial Finance Attorney with lender side experience. Extensive experience representing banks and funds in complex financing transactions is required. New York licensure is required. This contract engagement position is hybrid in the firm's Midtown Manhattan office.

Requirements for the Banking & Commercial Finance Attorney (NY Licensed):

• 7+ years of attorney experience
• Experience with sophisticated financing transactions in an AmLaw 200 firm or sophisticated boutique
• Substantial lender side experience representing banks and funds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Licensed to practice law in New York
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Outstanding references

Position Details

• Type of role: Contract engagement
• Schedule: 6+ months; full-time
• Location: Hybrid in Midtown Manhattan

Compensation:

Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $250,000 to $300,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
