Bandsaw Operator 2nd ShiftOur client, an industry leader in manufacturing and heavy fabrication, is seeking a Bandsaw Operator 2nd shift to join their team. As a Bandsaw Operator 2nd shift, you will be part of the production department supporting the shop floor operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Waco, TXPay Range: $20-$22 HR.

Monday-ThursdayShift: 4pm-2:30amWhat's the Job?Set up and operate horizontal or vertical bandsaws to cut raw metals, steel bars, and components to precise specifications.Review and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and cut lists to determine exact dimensions and cutting sequences.Inspect raw materials and finished parts for quality control, ensuring cuts match blueprints and surface standards.Select appropriate saw blades based on material type and perform routine machine maintenance, including blade changes and lubrication.Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines, utilizing PPE, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.What's Needed?1–3 years of experience operating industrial sawing machinery in a manufacturing or heavy fabrication environment.Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" and work accurately with fractions and decimals.Physical ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a heavy industrial setting.Knowledge of operating overhead hoists, jib cranes, and forklifts for loading and unloading raw materials.Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and good communication skills.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with growth potential.Supportive team culture focused on safety and quality.Consistent second shift hours with a predictable schedule.Hands-on experience with industrial saws and heavy machinery.Potential for career advancement within the organization.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
