Purpose Statement
The Extra-Curricular Band Specialist assists with various band activities, including but not limited to: marching band, winter drum line, winter guard, and brass/woodwind/percussion ensembles. This role supports the Band Director in fostering a positive and productive environment for all participating students.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Band Director with the needs of the ensembles.
- Provide specialized support for specific instruments or sections as needed.
- Help manage rehearsals, practices, and performances.
- Promote a positive and team-oriented environment for students.
Job Requirements
- 60 credit hours
- Experience or training in the musical fine arts.
- FHSD Certified Employees
- FHSD Non-Certified Employees
- Qualified External Candidates
