Band Saw OperatorSnelling Staffing is seeking a reliable Band Saw Operator to join a manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating band saw equipment to cut metal materials used in HVAC ductwork and related products while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met.Responsibilities:Safely operate horizontal and vertical band saw equipmentMeasure and mark materials using tape measures and measuring toolsCut metal materials according to specifications and dimensionsInspect finished materials for quality and accuracyLoad and unload materials for productionMaintain production schedules and workflowKeep work areas clean and organizedPerform basic machine upkeep and report equipment issuesFollow all company safety procedures and PPE requirementsAssist with other production tasks as neededRequirements:High school diploma or GED preferredManufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferredBand saw experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates)Tape measure experience requiredBasic math and measuring skillsAbility to read instructions and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and safety awarenessAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periodsFrequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pullingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyComfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
