DUTIES
Direct 4th‑8th grade band programs in multiple buildings. Teach small and large group lessons, 3 major concerts, in‑school concerts, solo festival, honors festival, and any other appropriate events. Attend faculty meetings with company faculty, in‑services, clinics, and other events.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education from a reputable institution. Must have an Illinois teaching license or an out‑of‑state equivalent. The individual should possess high energy and a desire and passion to teach music to students at this level.
