Our team is committed to safety, integrity, and operational excellence.Position SummaryThe Baler Operator operates hydraulic machines to compress and bind recyclable metal materials into dense, manageable bales.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with mobile equipment operators the loading materials into the machine, monitoring machine performance, working with the Baler team to tie off finished bales, and performing maintenance to ensure safety. Baler operator will also serve as a secondary check to ensure material for baling meeting quality standards. Will complete daily reports on the machine for inventory, safety maintenance and operational purposes.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred but not requiredPrior experience in metals preferred but not requiredAbility to interact with customers, employees and vendors in a friendly and courteous mannerStrong attention to safety and detailSafetyMust wear all necessary PPE while working or while in the yard.
