Baler Operator$16-$19/HRM-F 5a-130p currently 5a-330pThe Opportunity:The Baler Operator works within a team to help operate the Baler in a safe, efficient and reliable manner. The position holder will follow all pertinent procedures & processes as well as Group Health & Safety standards and rulesHow you will impact Smurfit Westrock:• Make good, neat bales.• Operate hogger and hog up all unusable paper and corrugated scrap.• Assist in two man feeds as necessary.• Maintain accurate bale reports.• Maintain inventories of baling wire, wax and no wax tags, and scrap bales.• Operate a fork jack in a safe manner when necessary.• Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
