Bakery Associate - Baker/Cake Decorator Garden Grove

Responsibilities

• Decorate quality 85C baked goods.
• Maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
• Perform daily operations, including separating, filling, and baking.
• Work as part of a team, following direction and collaborating with store management to deliver outstanding service.
• Provide sufficient breads and maintain quality to meet 85°C standards, completing designated tasks perfectly.
• Be on time for all scheduled shifts and adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
• Cross‑train in all departments (Bread, Cake, POS, Bar) as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Fast‑food or retail experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Acceptable verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts.
• Enforce Health Department Regulations and be ServSafe certified.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Physical Demands

• Moderate physical activity including lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
• Extended periods of standing and walking with repetitive hand motions and reaching overhead.
• Exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.
