Baker - 2nd ShiftWe are seeking a 2nd Shift Baker to prepare food and complete related tasks according to quality and safety standards to ensure satisfaction and achieve departmental food service goals. This position will also:Provide oversight for the setup and maintenance of the BakeryPerform baking and related activities, following established baking procedures and best practices to create and serve high-quality baked goods, according to quality and safety standards to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve departmental food service goalsWork closely with students, student managers, and limited-term employeesAvailability/Schedule:Evening and weekend shifts are required with a tentative schedule of Sunday - Thursday: 10:30am - 7:00pm and 8:00am - 4:30pm (Sunday)Key Job Responsibilities:Prepare a variety of baked goods including yeast products (40%)Assists student employees and provides training as needed (10%)Assists with recipe and menu development and testing (25%)Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local safety regulations, policies, and procedures (15%)Assists with recipe and menu development and testing (10%)Cleans, inspects and maintains bakery equipment and work areas to ensure adherence to safe food quality, handling, and sanitation processes and procedures (10%)Compensation:$19.00 - $21.00 an hourRequired Qualifications:Six months of food service experience in a professional settingPreferred Qualifications:One year of food service experience in a professional settingServSafe Certification, Food Handler or Manager CertificationExperience leading and/or training staffExperience in a customer service environmentHow to Apply:Interested applicants are required to apply online and provide a resume addressing your professional level work experience as it relates to all required and preferred qualifications.
