We service a wide variety of customers throughout Michigan.ResponsibilitiesSupport production by working with loader operators, and supplying materials as needed (e.g. raw materials, pallets, bags)Responsible for daily and routine clean-up around the machinery to ensure consistent and predictable operationTroubleshooting problems with machinery and partner with the assistance of maintenance to resolve issues (e.g. line down time, product quality)Participating in start-up, change over and shut down of operating equipmentPerforming clean, inspect, and lubricate tasks on equipment, as necessary per our site requirementsPerforming change overs including disassembly and reassembly of necessary equipment, adjustments, and calibrationsFollowing all safety guidelines and regulationsParticipating in continuous improvement initiatives to increase process efficiencyRequirementsMachine, bagger, or conveyor troubleshooting experience preferredExperience in a manufacturing environment or equipment repairProficiency with basic computer skillsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces and lifting at least 50 lbsWilling and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipmentKnowledge of quality concepts and methodsDemonstrated continuous improvement and problem-solving skillsPrior forklift experience preferredExceptional interpersonal skills, flexibility and customer service attitude
