Plastipak Packaging, Inc. seeks a Backup Yard Driver to safely move trailers and support efficient yard operations at our plastics manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate yard trucks to spot trailers at docks, reposition equipment to meet production and shipping schedules, and maintain accurate yard inventories.
You’ll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow all safety and traffic rules, and collaborate closely with shipping, receiving, and production teams. As backup to primary yard drivers, you’ll provide coverage across shifts and support continuous, safe, and reliable plant operations.
