Dedicated Solution Architect responsible for the design, engineering, and operational support enterprise backup and storage environment. Acts as the technical lead for architecture decisions, capacity planning, and vendor coordination across the storage and data-protection estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and support enterprise storage and backup platforms, including Dell PowerMax, VMAX, and NetApp.
- Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management for the storage estate.
- Design and maintain data-protection solutions (Commvault, immutable/air-gapped backup) aligned to CNA retention and security standards.
- Support storage provisioning, replication, snapshots, and NDMP/NAS backup operations.
- Partner with infrastructure, InfoSec, and vendor teams on modernization, migrations, and issue resolution.
- Produce architecture documentation, run books, and design proposals for review.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven Solution Architect experience with Dell PowerMax / VMAX and NetApp storage.
- Strong background in enterprise backup and recovery (Commvault preferred).
- Expertise in SAN/NAS, replication, snapshots, and data-protection design.
- Understanding of backup retention, immutability, and regulated-enterprise security standards.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder-communication skills.
