Support Staff| Dravida | East Village
Pay: $11.35/hr + share of 20% mandated check gratuity (distributed through a tip pool) | Full-Time & Part-Time | Dinner Availability Required
Dravida, a new restaurant from Chef Aarthi Sampath, is opening soon in the East Village!
Dravida is a service-led, chef-driven restaurant focused on the Indian diaspora. The menu is designed to be guided at the table, and the backserver team plays a key role in maintaining the flow and precision of service.
Service will be fast, structured, and detail-oriented. Support staff are responsible for supporting the dining room by clearing and resetting tables, running food, assisting with table maintenance, and working closely with servers to ensure a smooth and consistent guest experience.
We’re looking for team members who are attentive, quick, and highly organized. This is a role for people who anticipate needs, move with urgency, and take pride in keeping the floor clean, stocked, and running at a high level.
Requirements:
• 3+ year of restaurant experience (NYC experience preferred)
• Strong sense of urgency and awareness on the floor
• Ability to support multiple servers and maintain table flow
• Comfort running food and describing dishes when needed
• Clear communication with front and back of house
• Reliable, team-first mindset
• Ability to stay organized and efficient in high-volume service
• Dinner availability (weekends required)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
Bonus Points For:
• Experience in high-volume or upscale restaurants
• Familiarity with South Asian or global cuisine
• Opening team experience
