Experienced in backend development, the full-time Backend Technical Lead will design and implement integrations using PHP/Laravel or JS/Node, manage client relations by communicating technical concepts, and lead project timelines while working remotely in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone. Key responsibilities Design and implement reliable and secure integrations while optimizing databases and ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines Communicate complex technical concepts to clients, negotiate project requirements, and provide timely integration advice Lead project status updates, assist with development timelines, and mentor team members through collaborative problem-solving Required qualifications Proficiency with PHP/Laravel or JS/Node, PostgreSQL, and AWS Experience in data modeling, mapping, and migration between systems Good understanding of the Shopify data model and hands-on experience with Shopify APIs Ability to collaboratively solve problems and share knowledge People management experience is a plus
