Position: Back Server
Reports to: F&B Leadership
Description of Role:
Back Servers are responsible for everything from running food, polishing glassware and tableware, clearing and resetting tables, and communicating with Servers and Management about immediate needs. Primary Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks required to open and set up for service; Polish silver ware and glasses, align tables and place settings, ensure dining room is clean and ready to receive guests
- Deliver food to members and guests accurately, efficiently and with grace
- Support service team with ongoing table and floor maintenance, including, but not limited to: water service, clearing and cleaning tables and resetting tables with proper tableware
- Possess knowledge of all food menu items to answer any questions or inquiries a member or guest may have
- Consistently executes proper steps of service.
- Assist in daily side work and closing/breakdown of the dining room
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ Year of fine dining experience in similar role
- Possess outstanding food & beverage knowledge
- Highly motivated, focused and passionate
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exhibits professionalism and team work; great interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous
