Business Analyst – Investment Banking
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong investment banking/capital market. Key responsibilities include engaging with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for investment banking platforms and AI-driven use cases. You will translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for Agentic AI-enabled solutions. You will work with AI/ML and engineering teams to define workflows involving LLMs, autonomous agents, and decision systems. You will drive process improvement and automation initiatives across trading, custody, asset servicing, or risk workflows. You will prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. You will facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement walkthroughs. You will support UAT, validation, and rollout of AI-powered solutions. You will ensure alignment with financial regulations and compliance standards.
Mandatory skills include strong experience in Investment Banking / Capital Markets domain, asset management / custody / securities / trade lifecycle preferred, hands-on experience working as a Business Analyst (8–10 years), exposure to Agentic AI / Generative AI / LLM-based solutions, experience in AI-led automation or intelligent workflow systems, use cases involving chatbots, copilots, or autonomous agents, and strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, User Stories). Stakeholder management and communication skills are also required.
Preferred skills include knowledge of tools/frameworks like OpenAI, LangChain, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI ecosystems, understanding of data models, APIs, and system integrations, Agile / Scrum experience, and exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Work model is Onsite: Boston (Client Office – 5 days/week mandatory) with no remote/hybrid flexibility.
