Azure Solution ArchitectThe Office of the Director of Healthcare is in search of a qualified Azure Solution Architect contractor and a Consultant II from a State of Ohio State Term Schedule (STS) agreement. Award will be made to the most qualified applicant. STS bidder must have the position listed on their STS agreement with the state of Ohio to be considered for an award.

Attempt were made to find a qualified person from the OST staff Augmentation contract but no qualified candidates were found. See the attached documents for Job Duties, Experience and Qualifications. Contractor is needed through June 30, 2024.***NOTE: Upon award, the initial PO with be for 1280 hours with an option to extend through the end of state fiscal year 2025 to a maximum of 2080 hours.Azure Solution Architect Responsibility:Lead complex initiatives for organizational improvement frameworks in assigned discipline/program (i.e., Azure,.NET Framework)Work with IT staff, CIO and IT Managers to design solutions that meet the agency's requirements.Work as the expert in project management methodologies and risk identification and mitigationProvide architecture whitepapers and design documents for updates to application project initiatives and lead the application architective reviews.Provide focused research for assigned IT discipline/program team.Experience:Minimum 4 years combined work experience in any combination of the following:Assisting with development and updates to the strategic Information Technology planParticipating in work groups to author Information Technology plan by discipline/program team and/or leading activities to achieve project tasks/meet deadlinesPerforming solutions design for assigned discipline/program team (e.g., software development, infrastructure, database administration, security) including 2 years technology related work experience as specified by the agency position description and vacancy/job postingMinimum qualifications will be further evaluated against the following criteria:Undergraduate or advanced degree in Computer Science or Information TechnologyExperience with Azure Environment (Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Network Security groups, App Service Environments, SQL Databases)Experience designing and implementing an infrastructure strategy.Experience designing a business continuity/disaster recovery strategy.Experience designing and implementing an identity and security strategy.Experience implementing authentication and securing data.Experience determining workload requirements.Experience with Azure DevOps (GIT/Pipelines/Azure Repos, Tasks and Templates)
