We are currently sourcing for a DevOps Engineer to work in Fidelity’s Health Care Group in Westlake, TX!The TeamThe Fidelity Health Benefits (FHB) Platform team within the Health Care Technology Group (HCG) organization supports the recordkeeping and administration of health benefits (medical, dental and vision plans) and life insurance plans on behalf of Fidelity’s corporate clients, their employees and retirees. The technology associates on the FHB Platform team interact with business partners as well as systems partners who have responsibility for client-facing channels such as NetBenefits® and Plan Sponsor WebStation®.

The development teams are located across USA and India. This role is based of North Carolina, USA. Team size is 150+ resources across IT and Product.

Highly motivated team works completely on Agile Methodology!The Expertise You Have and The Skills You BringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Science, or a related field7 - 10 years of DevOps Cloud Engineering experienceSignificant hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (network, security, deployment, automation, serverless technologies), ideally with the related certificationHands on experience implementing IaC solutions using any of the following: Bicep, Terraform, ARM Templates, etcExperience building preventive and detective measures for managing cloud-based infrastructure at scale.Hands-On Kubernetes skills and knowledge, including GitOps for Release Management using ArgoCD, Helm, and/or similar technologies.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies.Strong scripting skills in any of the following: Python, Groovy, Unix/shellHands on experience with one or more Observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, SplunkCloud, etc.).Proven experience in implementing advanced observability practices, including the monitoring of system behavior and resource utilization to identify constraints, prepare for future scaling needs, and ensure optimal system performance.Strong technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving skillsStrong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, etc)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies.
