Healthcare experience would be a plus, but not required.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, security, and performance of our Azure database environment. This will include planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure databases, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise. The DBA will work closely with our development and infrastructure teams to ensure that all databases are optimized for the best performance and availability.Key Responsibilities:Manage Azure databases including installation, configuration, and maintenance.Develop and maintain database backup and recovery plans.Design and implement database security protocols and access controls.Develop and maintain database performance tuning strategies to ensure optimal performance and scalability.Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise.Implement and maintain disaster recovery procedures.Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database performance and availability.Create and maintain technical documentation related to the database environment.Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure database technologies and trends.Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience as a DBA, with a strong focus on Azure database administration.Experience with SQL Server and other database management systems.Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and other Azure database services.Expertise in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.Experience with Azure security protocols and best practices.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
