Azure Data Protection Engineer/Consultant
Duration – 4-5 Months Remote
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years' experience with Azure or Azure Security functions and a strong understanding of Azure Information Protection and experience in successfully implementing it in previous customer environments
- As an expert, you will be responsible for the implementation of Azure data security controls
- This project requires both technical expertise and an understanding of NIST framework to align data security controls
Responsibilities
- Align data security use cases with organizational security policies and standards (NIST 800 53 Rev5).
- Design and configure Microsoft Purview components (Information Protection, DLP, Audit, Data Lifecycle, Azure Key Vault, Encryption).
- Ensure implementation of Azure data protection solution meets all security standards for audit needs and data security controls are implemented for workloads in Azure environment
- Ensure data protection controls are implemented for secure data transmission between system components.
- Define roles and responsibilities for the ongoing management of the Purview platform.
- Facilitate environment setup, access for configuration activities, and ensure proper documentation of implemented controls
- Participate in workshops and meetings to align data security requirements.
