Azure Data Engineer

Experis is hiring an Azure Data Engineer (Data Strategy) in Charlotte, NC (onsite) to help build a strategic Azure data platform for a Securities Group within a financial services organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Azure-based data solutions to support strategic initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to establish reference data systems for securities and pricing data.
• Build and maintain data quality frameworks and data governance tools to help ensure data integrity.
• Develop robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory , Azure Lake Gen 2 , Azure Databricks , and other Azure services.
• Support active development of the data platform while aligning with internal standards and best practices .

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with particular experience in Python , PySpark , and related frameworks.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on work in Azure cloud services .
• Strong familiarity with Azure Data Factory , Azure Lake Gen 2 , Azure Databricks , and Azure Databases .
• Experience with data quality frameworks and data governance tools , including Collibra .
• Excellent SQL skills, including experience working with RDM S and noSQL databases.
• Understanding of the DevOps lifecycle and CI/CD processes.
