Azure Data Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Overview: Join our dynamic team as an Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines across Microsoft Azure. You will serve as a subject‑matter expert, actively participate in team discussions, and contribute to innovative data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Apply data engineering principles to develop reusable workflows including ingestion, quality, transformation, and optimization.
• Build scalable data pipelines using extract, transform, and load tools.
• Deploy data solutions to production environments.
• Migrate data from legacy data warehouses using cloud architecture principles.
• Automate the flow of data for consumption.
• Build business processes that enable data governance.
• Design and advise on data quality rules and set up effective data compliance policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of Data Engineering experience with Python and Microsoft Azure Databricks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in PySpark.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Databricks Delta Live Tables, and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree.

Compensation:

Compensation ranges by location: $51.06–$61.06 per hour (California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland, NewYork/NewJersey, Washington).
