Azure Data Engineering ArchitectWe are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Architect with experience in Azure cloud ecosystem, particularly Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks. The ideal candidate will design, architect, and oversee scalable, high-performance data platforms and pipelines that enable analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and design end-to-end data solutions on Azure using:Azure Data Factory (ADF)Azure DatabricksAzure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2)Azure Synapse / SQL DatabaseDefine data architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices for:Data ingestion (batch & streaming)Data transformation (ETL/ELT)Data storage and modelingLead the implementation of scalable data pipelines using ADF and Databricks (PySpark, SQL)Design and optimize Delta Lake architecture and medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) data layersCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate into technical solutionsEnsure data governance, security, and compliance (RBAC, data masking, encryption)Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teamsOptimize performance and cost of Azure data servicesIntegrate real-time and batch processing pipelinesRequired Skills & QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong experience with:Azure Data Factory (ADF) (pipelines, triggers, integration runtime)Azure Databricks (PySpark, notebooks, workflows)Delta Lake and lakehouse architectureExpertise in:Python / PySparkSQLData modeling (star/snowflake schemas)Experience with:Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)Azure Synapse Analytics or SQL ServerData ingestion patterns (API, streaming, files, CDC)Knowledge of:CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub)Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM, Terraform – preferred)Monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)Cloud & ArchitectureUnderstanding of:Cloud architecture patternsDistributed data processingData warehousing & lakehouse concepts
