Leading the implementation and management of enterprise cloud security initiatives, the contract-to-hire Azure Cloud Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security controls in a fully remote Microsoft Azure environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing the organization's cloud security posture. Key responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Microsoft Azure cloud environments Analyze and monitor cloud cybersecurity policies and compliance requirements Lead the implementation of Zero Trust Architecture across cloud infrastructure and applications Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred) 5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or cloud security engineering 5+ years of hands-on experience securing Microsoft Azure environments Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and related security practices Experience configuring and administering Azure security services
