Role Overview:
OCTO is seeking a hands-on Azure Cloud Architect to lead the development and management of its multi-cloud environment, primarily focused on Microsoft Azure, with supporting AWS workloads.
Key Technical Requirements:
- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Architecture and enterprise cloud solutions.
- Azure Landing Zone design, Cloud Adoption Framework, and Well-Architected Framework.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Azure governance, Azure Policy, RBAC, Microsoft Entra ID, and Defender for Cloud.
- Azure networking, hub-and-spoke architecture, hybrid connectivity, and private endpoints.
- Experience migrating on-premises/VMware workloads to Azure.
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) architecture and ideally Nerdio.
- AWS multi-cloud exposure, cloud monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Technical leadership, architecture reviews, and mentoring cloud engineering teams.
