Leading the governance and architecture of Microsoft Azure environments, the full-time Cloud & FinOps / Azure Architect will design secure and cost-efficient cloud solutions while driving FinOps strategies and optimizing cloud spending in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, governance, and strategic direction of the Microsoft Azure environment Define and implement an enterprise-wide Azure FinOps framework to drive cloud cost transparency and optimization Develop and implement an enterprise data lifecycle strategy for managing over 20 years of historical data Required Qualifications Extensive experience designing and managing enterprise Microsoft Azure environments Proven experience leading Azure FinOps or large-scale cloud cost optimization initiatives Strong expertise in Azure Governance, Azure Storage, and Lifecycle Management Experience managing large-scale historical data estates (10+ years of enterprise data) Strong understanding of cloud financial management, budgeting, and cost optimization
