To support a growing cloud services team, the full-time AWS Workspaces Subject Matter Expert will build and scale virtual desktop solutions, connect AWS WorkSpaces to identity providers, and enforce security policies in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Build and scale virtual desktop solutions, selecting appropriate operating system bundles and managing compute or storage needs Connect AWS WorkSpaces to Active Directory and identity providers, while enforcing security policies and multi-factor authentication Monitor system uptime, automate patching, troubleshoot issues, and manage application packaging and delivery solutions Required qualifications 5+ years in IT infrastructure, End User Computing (EUC), or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Strong grasp of core AWS services such as VPC, IAM, KMS, and Directory Service Knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, Direct Connect, and streaming protocols like PCoIP or DCV Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or AWS CLI for user provisioning and management
