AWS Python DeveloperWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Python Developer with a strong background in AWS cloud services, scalable application development, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building robust, secure, and scalable applications using modern cloud native technologies and development practices. This role is located at a client site in Lafayette, LA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.Your future duties and responsibilities include:Developing and deploying applications on AWS Cloud.Building scalable code in Python and or Java.Creating API on AWS cloud.Developing sound version control best practices based code deployment in AWS.Hands on experience CI/CD with Terraform pipelines and Gitlab.Building web applications on AWS cloud.Scripting and automation using Python, PHP, Node.js, etc.Front end development Angular/ADK, typescript is a plus.
Strong SQL skills in databases, including DynamoDB, Postgres, Oracle, etc.Application monitoring and tuning.Deploying serverless applications, familiarity with AWS Services.Building automation testing frameworks.Participating in code reviews with peers and managers.Participating in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives.Understanding and utilizing DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy, test and promote new or updated features.Responding to trouble/support calls for applications in production.Creating or updating documentation in support of development efforts.Working with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new or revised applications.Familiar with other cloud services like Azure or GCP.Familiar with CI/CD with AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy and CodePipeline.Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required.What you can expect from us:Together, as owners, let's turn meaningful insights into action.
