This role combines technical AWS expertise with financial analysis to identify cost savings opportunities, implement cloud financial management best practices, and drive operational efficiency across complex AWS environments.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and implement AWS cost optimization opportunities, including rightsizing, Reserved Instances, and Savings PlansEstablish and enforce cloud cost allocation and tagging strategiesConfigure cost anomaly detection, alerting, and reporting capabilitiesAnalyze recommendations from AWS Trusted Advisor and AWS Cost Optimization HubDeliver monthly cost optimization reports and executive recommendationsEducate customer teams on FinOps best practices and cloud financial managementSupport implementation of FinOps Foundation frameworks and standardsCollaborate with engineering and finance teams to improve cloud governanceQualifications3+ years of AWS cloud operations, FinOps, or cloud financial management experienceStrong understanding of AWS billing, Cost Explorer, CUR, Savings Plans, and Reserved InstancesExperience with cloud cost optimization and governance programsKnowledge of AWS Organizations and multi-account environmentsExcellent analytical and communication skillsFinOps Certified Practitioner preferredAWS certification preferred
