DevOps Engineer / AWS Engineer / Cloud EngineerAs a member of the Lower Environment Squad, the lead automation engineer will be responsible for the following:Act as a senior team member escalation point for the following types of issues:Linux, VM, Storage and Cloud infrastructure issuesEnd to end diagnostic troubleshooting to resolve complex application and infrastructure level problemsIdentify patterns and trends (use cases) from common support issues that arise in the lower environments.Leveraging automation platforms, develop and implement self-service and automated solutions for Application Development and L1 support to resolve common support use cases.Create reusable pipelines where the self-service and automated solutions can be leveraged in other environments.Requirements:Minimum 7 years of IT experience either as a engineer with infrastructure diagnostic experience or as an infrastructure engineer with some development experience or knowledge of application architecture flows.Experience supporting distributed platformsExperience developing with multi-tiered applicationsUnderstands applications and infrastructure at the architectural and detailed levelCan drive requirements for automation and self-serviceCan develop and train other engineers to scale out a full support modelPlatform / Development Stack: Expert level in some of the platforms with exposure to the others is preferred.
